Details of the detector GERDA in its second experimental phase. The experiment’s technology is based on the use of germanium crystals isotopically enriched in 76Ge and its goal is to investigate the process that would allow to comprehend a fundamental aspect of neutrino nature: its capability to coincide or not with its antiparticle (Majorana neutrino).
